Welcome to the beautiful Cotswold town of Chipping Campden and to the official website of the Chipping Campden Information Centre.
With the general exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day the Information Centre is open seven days a week, all the year round, for the benefit of both local residents and visitors alike.
The noted historian G.M.Trevelyan described Chipping Campden as having "the most beautiful village street now left in the island" and, whether you agree with that description or not, we are here to help maximise your enjoyment of Chipping Campden in particular and the rest of the Cotswolds in general.
Whether you want some postcards of Chipping Campden to send to your friends and relatives back home, a detailed map of the Cotswolds to help you to explore the area, or to make an accommodation booking in a bed and breakfast (b&b), inn or hotel, either locally in or around Chipping Campden, or in some other part of mainland UK to which you are travelling on, we will be glad to be of service.We can also provide local bus timetables, details of local restaurants, leaflets for Cotswold tourist attractions, and maps and guides for those interested in walking, whether on a short circular walk of a few miles or a major undertaking such as the 100 mile long Cotswold Way.
Our opening hours are 10:00 am until 5:30 pm in summer and 10:00 am until 5:00 pm in winter, so please let us know what your needs and questions are and we will be more than happy to help.
